B/A Vintage celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday

We’ve been busy here at B/A Vintage getting ready for Canada’s birthday. All our windows are decorated and bring it on.  We’ve been painting flowers in our workshops, when I came up with this idea to turn them into our Canadian flowers with the leaf in the centre. They are very effective and there is a design on both sides. But a lot of work.🇨🇦
started with Peterborough window first, had an old gate with the flag painted on it. Looks great, an old Hudson Bay blanket, table also flag painted on it and many pillows. imageimageThen we did Brighton window, set a bench up on two dressers I’m the window with another Hudson Bay blanket. They have a trapper label and from Eatons. Same goodies as Peterborough, flags. The Canada painted with 150 on it. 🇨🇦

Tricia’s been busy working away in Whitby doing her own things and as always done a great job.  She didn’t have a stencil so she cut out a leaf and used it. Here’s her window…🇨🇦

She has a red china cabinet, flower. Small board painted and distressed, pillows. Love it. Banner along the top. 🇨🇦

Then to Newtonville, the original and real B/A Vintage. We called our business after our restored British American gas station.  Also stands for Betty Ann. 🇨🇦  Chalkpaint™By Annie  is original and the real deal too. Everything was painted old white and emperor’s silk,  odd pieces were waxed, but flowers weren’t as they may go outside. 🇨🇦

One  more window…

Here Is the Canadian map. We’ve been fortunate to have a terrific carpenter make what ever design we come up with.🇨🇦
